The health of Northern New Mexico’s economy is entwined and affected by the activities and purchasing power of Los Alamos National Laboratory. The MSC was formed to consolidate, connect and empower regional business owners in order to have a unified voice and impact critical policies. In this tight-knit community, the positive ramifications of this union have been evident in multiple ways. Our members enjoy increased awareness and access to local, state, regional and national policy-makers and leaders.

MEMBERSHIP TIERS
Associate
Every business with an active subcontract with LANL that requires a Subcontractor Regional Community Development Plan (SRCDP) automatically receives an Associate Membership at no cost.
Standard
MSC Standard Membership is available to any business or organization whether they have an active subcontract with LANL or not. Price: $750 per year, of which $500 goes to the MSC Grant Pool.
Partner
MSC Partner Membership is also available to any business or organization whether they have an active subcontract with LANL or not. Price: Minimum annual donation to the MSC of $1,250 or more. $750 of the minimum donation goes to the MSC Grant Pool. Allocation of donations in excess of the minimum may be designated by the Partner. Partner members may also assign an individual to the MSC Board of Directors.

MSC Benefits Include:
Meeting with LANL’s Executive Director and Leadership Team during which they provide an update on the Laboratory’s direction and answer your questions.
At the beginning of each 60-day session, the MSC and its members meet with NM Legislators to discuss issues that impact our businesses and community.
MSC members, LANS and community leaders come together for an evening to recognize the great work being done by our Grant Pool recipients and sponsors.
Annual membership meeting where MSC and its partners brief the membership on key activities for the past and upcoming year, discuss priorities and then relax for a great evening of networking, food and fun.
Several times a year, the MSC holds topical roundtables and briefings with various government, community and business leaders including LANL, NNMS, EM, State of NM and various elected officials.
The MSC also attends events held by our partners and our members have the opportunity to join as well. Examples include the quarterly LANL Community Leaders Breakfast and the Energy Communities Alliance conferences.
MSC members are invited to join various field trips to meet with leaders in other communities. Past trips include WIPP, LANL Firing Range and multiple trips to Washington, D.C.
